ADULT EDUCATION  
Quest Group Chuck Schulz
Quest Group meets in the Beacon Room Sundays from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Currently, they are discussing Transcendentalism in the U.S. All adults welcome.  
Questions of Faith Liz Conway
  Natalie Parker-Lawrence
Questions of Faith meets in the Chalice Room Sundays from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. to discuss great ideas. All adults welcome.  
ALLIANCE Rachell Anderson
Sponsors activities in support of the church and in service to the community. Alliance meets at the church on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. for a program, followed by lunch and a business meeting. Open to all.
AUCTION Gwen Rose
Organizes and arranges for various auction items to be donated; provides an auction theme with dinner and entertainment. Held annually.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES Lisa Jennings
The Board of Trustees has regular meetings on the second Thursday of the month, at the church, at 7:00 p.m.

CANVASS TEAM CO-CHAIRS Brenda Lanier
CANVAS CHAIR IN TRAINING Bobby Walton
Organizes and conducts the annual canvass drive.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEAM Juliet Wischmeyer
Plans curriculum for Sunday morning Church School, sponsors youth activities, informs parents about the programs. The team meets monthly.
COFFEE HOUR Carol Straughn
Schedules volunteers for making coffee before and after worship services.
DENOMINATIONAL AFFAIRS Lisa Jennings
Informs the congregation of activities within the denomination and promotes participation in the national and regional affairs of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN'S MINISTRY Cindy Sakaan
Responsible for direction of Children's Ministry. Recruits and trains teachers; implements courses of study. In charge of special events involving youth.
ENDOWMENT FUND Amery Staub
Directs investment of funds.  
FINANCE Tom Miller
Prepares the annual budget for the approval of the congregation at the annual meeting.
GREEN SANCTUARY Bill Landers
Reduces the church footprint on the environment.
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP–YRUU Tim Wheat
Social and service organization for High School youth.
HOSPITALITY Dee Billmeier
Sponsors social gatherings to help church people get to know each other, to introduce new members and to celebrate special occasions.
LIBRARY June Kramer
Purchases and catalogues books. Maintains and operates the church library.
LONG TERM PLANNING Janice Herbert
Selects planning architects and coordinates with them.
LUNCH BUNCH Anne Thompson
The Lunch Bunch meets for lunch in different restaurants after the church service on Sunday for fun and fellowship.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ADVENTURE CLUB Jeff McDonald
Social and service organization for Junior High Youth
MUSIC David Jennings
Provides music for church services and other occasions and is responsible for musical equipment and facilities.
MUSIC DIRECTOR Chuck Schulz
Provides music for services and other occasions. Responsible for choir recruitment, direction; orders music and supplies.
About the Choir: The choir has practice at 7:30 p.m. most Wednesdays in the Sanctuary of the church. If you like to sing, you are welcome to join. Watch the church calendar for rehearsal information.

The River Readers meets the fourth Thursday each month in member’s homes to discuss books and have a pleasant get together. The chairperson supplies a monthly reading list each fall. Organizes meetings for the fourth Thursday of each month.
RIVERWALK Andy Branham
Serves as liaison between the City of Memphis and the church regarding use of church property for the Riverwalk Project.
SPECIAL PROJECTS MANAGER Larry Kalbach
Manages and coordinates special projects for the church
SUMMER OF FAITH Jack Richbourg
Plans and secures speakers for worship services in July and August
SUPPER CLUB Jerry and Dee Billmeier
Supper Club consists of small groups in host homes for dinner, conversation and getting acquainted. The host calls and asks that you bring a part of the supper. Once people at church sign up to participate, on a monthly basis, the chairs organize the participants into the various home settings.

Special supper club for parents with young children  
USHERS Larry Bomar
Schedules ushers for Sunday worship services.    
WEB SITE SERVANTS Linda Goodwin-Parkinson and John Parkinson
Responsible for the design and maintenance of our web site.
WELCOMING Alice Fleming
Enrolls those interested in becoming formal members of the church and provides orientation for new and prospective members.
WOMEN'S EVENING GROUP Carol Straughn
The Women’s Evening Group meets at members' homes on the third Thursday of the month for social time and supper, followed by a program. All women are welcome. The chair organizes the monthly gathering. The Women's Evening Group is also known as Soup for the Soul. Watch the church calendar for details.
WORSHIP COMMITTEE Jack Richbourg
Assists the minister in providing guest speakers for worship services when the minister is absent from the pulpit.
