We’re so excited about what’s ahead this fall at Church of the River! Beginning October 5th, our Children & Youth Faith Development programs are back in a big way — with a new rhythm designed to keep kids engaged, build community, and offer deeper connections.

  • 9:30 - 12:15 pm Nursery Open
  • 10 - 10:50 am First Hour Programs - Faith Development For All Ages
    • PreK-7th Age-specific curricula give our children and youth space to explore the sources of our faith and how Unitarian Universalism is both similar to and different from other traditions.
    • Adult Faith Development Offerings - Yes, you read that correctly, we're excited to offer faith development programs for ALL ages at 10am on Sunday mornings. Our Adult offerings are kicking off with "UU 101" with Rev Lynn, watch our Weekly Newsletter for more info
  • 10 - 12 pm - Youth Group (8th-12th Grade) Meets in the Blue room for a mix of social and faith development focused time together
  • During Worship — Kids Club (PreK–7th)
After the Time for All Ages, kids are invited to check out our Kids Clubs for community-focused, project-based activities. These will include crafts, service projects, games, and opportunities to grow friendships across age groups.

All classes will dismiss after the worship service from the North West end of the building, near the Mississippi River Room.

Please note that children in PreK through 4th grade will need to be signed out by their grown up before they can be released at the end of class. Youth in 5th-12th grade will have the ability to sign themselves out (with parental/guardian permission) and be released after the worship service has ended to find their families.
