Part-time (avg 13-15 hours per week, includes planning & administrative time with one Sunday off each month)

$18-20/hour commensurate with experience

Job Summary

The Family Ministry Program Coordinator leads and manages middle and high school youth programming while supporting the overall coordination of children’s faith development at the First Unitarian Church of Memphis, also known as Church of the River.

This position combines relational youth leadership with responsibility for the systems that support Family Ministry. The Coordinator leads all youth programming and takes ownership of key program logistics, including volunteer coordination, attendance tracking, classroom readiness, and database management, helping ensure that Family Ministry offerings are organized, welcoming, and aligned with Unitarian Universalist values.

$18/hour - 12 months/year

Reports to the Nursery Supervisor

The role of a Childcare Provider is to provide dependable, safe, secure, and nurturing care to children while on our church campus in a clean environment. 

The Childcare Provider supports the purposes and policies of First Unitarian Church of Memphis and its faith formation program.

Job Summary 

We are seeking a creative, flexible individual interested in facilitating curriculum as well as creating fun and unique learning experiences for children in our 4th-6th grade classroom. These learning experiences may happen in person inside or outside on our property in Memphis or online if circumstances require it.
