Due to expected harsh winter weather conditions this weekend (Jan. 23-25), our church service and all other scheduled events have been canceled.  This includes the following:

  • Game and Pizza night,  originally scheduled for Friday, January 23. This will be rescheduled for a later date.
  • The Memorial Service for Annie Nelson, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24, will be postponed until April
  • OWL Orientation,  originally scheduled for Sunday morning, January 25, will be rescheduled at a later date.
  • 11:00 am church service on Sunday is cancelled.
  • New member recognition will be rescheduled for Sunday, February 1.
  • Congregational Meeting, originally scheduled for 12 pm on Sunday, January 25, will be rescheduled for after the service on Sunday, February 1.  All Church of the River members are encouraged to attend. We'll hear reports from the Interim Minister, Board President, and Treasurer, and vote on the church's operational budget for 2026.
