At its annual meeting on Sunday, May 3, the congregation unanimously voted to accept the slate of candidates nominated by the Board for the Ministerial Search Committee.  The Committee will begin a year-long process to identify and recommend a new "called" or "settled" minister to lead the congregation beginning August 2027, at the conclusion of Rev. Lynn Hopkin's Interim Ministry. The Committee members are: Kent Fisher, Whitney Baker, Lisa  Jennings, Matt Holladay, Laura McArtor,  Sarah Sakaan, and Rod Starns.

The congregation also unanimously voted to:  

  • Change the number of Board members from 13 to 7 (6 plus the Treasurer).
  • Change the term lengths for the Nominating Committee from 1 year to staggered 3-year terms.
  • Elect Gabrielle Nieves, Mike Schooler, and Brad Roper as the Nominating Committee.
  • Re-elect Lisa Jennings to another 1-year term as Treasurer.
  • Elect Nancy Mardis as Endowment Committee Alternate
  • Renew the agreement to share our facilities with Community of Faith Christian Church
