The Board of Trustees has announced a special Town Hall-style meeting for the congregation on Sunday May 4th, to discuss the resignation of Rev. Teitel and discuss the path forward as our search begins for an Interim Minister. To make the meeting more accessible, the UUA has recommended that we hold it via Zoom. The 90-minute Zoom will begin at 2:00 pm, to allow members to get home (and get their children home) and have lunch, rather than staying after church for 90 minutes. Several UUA representatives will guide us through the meeting, allowing space and time for everyone to process the different emotions you may be feeling. We hope to provide a better understanding of how we have arrived at this difficult crossroads, and then begin to chart a path forward in faith and love. This is the first step in a process of healing and growth. Technical details about the meeting are still being arranged, and we will provide those details and the Zoom link later this week.
