Visitors to the Church of the River
We invite anyone to visit or join us. Our members come from various backgrounds and beliefs. Typically, they’re searching for a non-traditional or progressive church. Some come from other religious denominations, and some are agnostic or atheist. Mixed-faith or mixed-race families who may have felt uncomfortable elsewhere can feel at home with us. And as a designated Welcoming Congregation, we open our doors and hearts to the LGBTQ community. If you seek a caring, open-minded congregation to encourage you on your own spiritual path, visit us. We’ll nurture your spirit and work together to make Memphis, and the world, a better place.
